As a Dental Hygienist, you will: • Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planning, debridement and apply fluoride and sealants. • Evaluate overall health and educate patients on preventive care, outcomes and oral hygiene. • Maintain patient electronic dental records. • Take diagnostically acceptable digital radiographs. • Follow practice protocols: quality assurance, biohazards, infection control, charting, referral, implants, periodontal program, caries risk assessment and emergency treatment. • Stock required supplies and maintain equipment.
This position is to begin as a temporary or on-call position serving all of our 12 locations throughout St. Louis and St. Charles. Candidates must be willing to travel between offices and be available on short notice. Our on-call employees have the potential to be hired on a full-time or part-time basis when the opportunity arises.
