Incumbent designs, fabricates, and constructs porcelain or acrylic fixed or semi-fixed bridge restorations, full or removable dentures, or orthodontic appliances, splints or obturators. The incumbent's duties and responsibilities include: Fabricates acrylic or porcelain crowns, bridges or facing. Surveys master casts for partial dentures, setups and contours artificial teeth. Thorough technical knowledge of both normal and abnormal oral anatomy and dentition as these affect the design, fabrication, function, and esthetics of the dental prosthesis being constructed. Able to adapt existing guidelines in order to carry out duties to adapt to a variety of clinical circumstances. Knowledge of fabrication of acrylic or cast splints for the reduction of fixation of maxillary and mandibular fract
