Dr. Salkovitch's office, which is located in Solon, OH is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to start as soon as possible.

The practice started 45 years ago and a large number of employees have been working for there for 20+ years.

We need somebody that can work Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.

Although it’s not required, you will have the option to work every Wednesday from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. However, it’s completely up to the Dental Hygienist if he or she would like to pick up those hours.

This office is a private practice that doesn't participate in any managed care plans.

The compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient screenings, clean teeth, and advise patients on preventative care
• Sterilize dental instruments
• Identify conditions such as gingivitis
• Clean patients’ teeth
• Educate patients on proper teeth care
• Take X-rays and dental impressions
• Recommend appropriate treatments
• Maintain accurate charts on each patient

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist but not required (open to recent Dental Hygiene graduates)
• Dental Hygiene degree
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to build trust with patients
• Valid license
